I have had 3 frosts here in Bailey at 9000' (past week), no mosquitoes at all this year, lots of ants though.
27 deg this AM on my deck.

we always have tons of ants. they are good for the soil and the birds and bears love them
We haven't gotten below freezing yet, but with a clear night sky, it cools down fast
