This fire is on Sunny Ridge Ln near Hi Meadow.
Just wanted folks to be clear on the location as it has been reported at a different location elsewhere.

at a different website.

I looked on every map I had to see if I had mis-heard the info but could not find that location on any map or search.
I just think it is so important to get the location right so people like you can prepare Mtn Gramma.

This fire is now handled and is in the mop up stage but it could have been much worse.
My compliments to Platte Canyon for their swift response and handling of this fire.

Sounds like a great knock down by the volunteer fire department.

They were outstanding.

I think everyone should get a scanner and listen to these guys in action.
I get a little peeved at some of the shenanigans but as a professional fire fighting crew....they really are top notch.
