We have a feature on our forums that allows our members to join or start groups. There could be many.
The benefit of the groups feature is that you can meet others that have your interests. Joining those groups would let you know who else shares your passion.
After reading the Hayman fire thread, I was wondering if 285bound has a similar "chat" capability, should (God forbid) the scanner people need it, but visible to everyone. The format was good for dessiminating information quickly, without avatars and siglines.

We do not have an 'official' chat at this time. In the event of a urgent issue or an emergency we would set up a chat for information.
