Washing machine parts

My washing machine motor went out last night after 10 years. Anyone know of a good place to go to get it fixed or a new motor? It is a Kenmore. It is a $750 front loading washer so I don't want to buy a new one.

Crow hill appliance repair is fast but not particularly cheap. They did a good job for me on a Kenmore washing machine a couple months ago. 303-838-7480

Lots of online appliance repair websites. Here is one that was very helpful to me.

I fixed my oven using the above site. Had to replace the ceramic glow plug part. The pat cost me $10 bucks and took me about 30 minutes to replace.

They have a link to repair help.

Sears repairs most anything. I'm sure they'd have the parts too.

Thanks for the ideas. Everyone is telling me it could be a few things and they need to come out and test it on the machine. SO now I have to put it on and pay for a sevice call first.

Compare how much that would cost you against buying a less used one.
