Need a Local Home Appraiser

We want to refinance and need an appraisal. The last guy we had came from down the hill and seemed to have no idea of home values up here and came in really low. Does anyone know a good local certified appraiser?

Lending procedures dictate that your bank hire the appraiser - and that you have no say in who that will be.

For a re-fi - the answer is, "your property isn't worth what you think it is --- try again in a few years...."
