MORRISON - Investigators say they took a man into custody in connection with a police chase where an officer was almost hit by a car.
Morrison Police tried to stop a car on Highway 285 on Saturday night just before 8 p.m. when the driver took off. The chase went into the Parmalee Gulch area and the driver went onto a private driveway in the Indian Hills area.
Officers got out of their car and walked up to the driver and then police say the driver turned around and drove at one of the officers. The officer dove to get out of the way and was not injured.
