Poor skinny mama! She needs to cop a little of that feast for herself!

We have a mama fox at our house - she had 3 kits this year. So cute! One Sunday morning we were making coffee and saw her on our front porch. She hopped into a large planter that we have there, one of those half-barrel things, and started digging. WTF???!!! Didn't have anything planted there yet - it was early spring. Lo and behold she dug up an egg! She carried it out in front of the porch and ate it. She must have buried it there - saving it for Sunday breakfast!

Cydl love your avatar! I found an egg in my garden years ago. I was a huge goose egg. A fox had to have buried it there.
