Don't freak out, its only a FEMA test @ High Noon Mtn time

Is there any reason that this test took place one day after the aircraft carrier sized asteroid passed between the earth and the moon? I'll confess that the impact of either event was minimal for me...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Impact :VeryScared:
No pun intended.

That old system is not longer useful. The internet / mobile phone is far more potent.

You can't compare the two...

The EBS (or whatever three letter acronym it's now called) is an administrative mess from a previous administration.

The current health care 'solution' is a brand spankin new, created by this administration, administrative mess.

Obviously I don't have the slightest idea how this system is designed. But I wonder if they are trying to be too fancy and over-automating the thing. Basically you need to have an on/off signal from FEMA, and a switch over to a FEMA audio video feed. Not really rocket science. Its the automation part that is concerning, what if a hacker ties in and sends a bogus nationwide emergency message?

Seems to me this system needs some manual control and local oversight to confirm the message first, and then some manual switching by a tech.

Also, there are simulation methods and pre-testing that could prove these systems out before the "big test". JMO

Sounds like a standard government SNAFU
