I used to live in Minnesota ---

We visited Split Rock once during a modest storm --- and the lighthouse was fully involved.

I've never been there so I had to check it out. WOW! It's going on my places to visit list.
My youngest son lives in Brainerd so a trip to see him could include a detour to Split Rock Lighthouse if I take the Northern Route.

Never underestimate the power of a hissy fit.

29 men died, no one survived. God rest each and every one of their souls. Proof positive that men vs. nature often results in nature winning the battle.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
