He's a well-respected Colorado storm chaser, is what I'd add to the picture. As such, he's probably in a safe spot to take the picture.

I just thought that was so interesting to take time out to get a pic in front of a tornado. Very interesting pic.

Looks like he's videotaping it with the camera that's behind him. I bet the still photog just yelled "Roger, turn around" and he did. The picture was snapped and they went back to work.

I would be running away. LOL
