One of my pet peeves is the safety switches that are built in to a lot of equipment these days, IMHO people dumb enough to reach under a running lawn mower should have the freedom to do so unabated (it would make it easier to identify them too). But what to do when those safety devices fail? In this case a kill switch on a lawn mower, while not my first choice it is a solution I would consider if I owned a S&W 500 Magnum and had a couple of extra lawn mowers:

It's a simple and effective solution but safety is probably an issue because I doubt the rounds and resulting shrapnel were completely contained within the lawn mower.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

500! Wow...probably throw you back 50 feet while removing your entire body mid section 100 feet!
