First introduced in 2010 as part of a public-education campaign, the Naughty & Nice Holiday List looks at the good and not-so-good shopping policies and the companies behind them. This year’s List includes high profile companies from a variety of fields including: air travel, electronics, apparel retailing, credit-card lending and concert ticketing. Consumer Reports notes that the Naughty & Nice Holiday List is based on specific policies and is not reflective of a company as a whole.
Naughty:
• AirTran.
• RadioShack.
• American Apparel.
• Verizon Wireless.
• Liberty Travel.
• The Swiss Colony.
• Southwest Airlines.
• SiriusXM satellite radio.
• GameStop.
See article for which policies each is rated good or bad on. The Sirius satellite one isn't a big deal to me, since it's automatically billed on my credit card; they do send a nice brochure with the upcoming charge and list of stations at that time. Radioshack? Wow.
Way to go REI and Amazon!
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
I disagree with the "naughty" listing for Southwest. A $10 Early Bird boarding fee (not mandatory) and two free checked bags beats the heck out of the other airlines' big baggage fees (mandatory).
