New Owner and the Revitalization of the "Old Safeway" Center

Have y'all noticed all the work that has been going on? The center has a new owner that is supposed to be very good to work with and is working with businesses that got swept up in the over development of shopping centers up here a few years back.

I think it is GREAT! Small businesses are barely scraping by as it is without having to pay double or more the rent to be located in 'the big boy shopping centers'. With the foreclosure of the New Safeway Center and businesses getting kicked out all the time for non-payment of high rents, this could be just the ticket to help businesses keep the doors open and people employed.

I hear that Buster's is thinking about moving back into their old location. I think that would be wonderful. There are others as well. This could be just what the community needs to help out the little guys and get the old shopping center thriving again. It is a great location and I think it is a really good thing to have a vital shopping center again.

I support the new owner (no I am affiliated nor have I met the new owner, but have heard good things from those that are dealing with him) and what he is trying to do up here and wanted to share what I learned with you guys.

That's good to hear Wily, thank you for sharing your information. Our local businesses have been hurting and could use all the help they can get!
