In 2001 the Park County Local History Archives began our collection in a small area in a building in South Park City Museum. Since then we have grown to the point that we have moved twice to larger facilities and now have space in the Bailey Library.

There are plans for a new library in Fairplay and the Archives is part of these plans. The land was purchased and the site dedication was held in June 2011. The Archives is committed to this project and as a small all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, our financial resources are limited and your support is very important to helping us make the new facility a reality.

Please help us in our commitment to preserving the history of Park County by making a donation today.

Isn't that cool? Saving history is very important. Down here the city of Aurora destroyed alot of history. This is a great cause.
