Suggestion

A scroller, and more, is definitely possible when we switch to the new system (you guys are going to LOVE it!). jf, that's a good idea to temporarily make the Traffic Cams thread a global - posting bumps it up, but doesn't otherwise make it visible to all. It's a little late for this morning's stuff, but I'll go do that now for the rest of the day since there will probably be issues with the commute home.

Hi Mtn Gramma! They are listed that way in the Road Scanner Updates Forum . We only call out really big things here in the Campfire, or try to direct people to make note that there's more information about multiple incidents in the Scanner and Emergency Info Forum to go check out if it will impact you. Scanner posts from the Scanner and Emergency Info forum also show up on the Home Page for quick viewing.

The Traffic, Cams, and Road Conditions thread was started to be a one-stop reference for all members with the resource info on the first page (variable message signs, highway cameras, useful CDOT links and apps, etc), and the rest of the thread for where everyone can post their own experiences with the roads as they have traveled them, or general CDOT info that we receive in email updates.

We are also going to start making a better effort to share this kind of information through our social media outlets: Facebook , Twitter , blog , etc ( us to receive updates, if you haven't already!). We appreciate any other feedback all of you can give us as to where you go first for information, or where you think it would be more visible so we can better serve you! We can't make any big changes as of yet, but there will be some nifty stuff with our new system that we can do! If you'd like to check out what the new system will be like (though it will be a little different from this even), play around on SmokyHillBound !
