it was a great game! lots of excitement, lots of drama, lots of challenged calls, and Tebow was ON IT! Let the boy throw and OMG THOMAS #88... what a game!
I think I invented a few new cuss words during the third quarter today! The Wundermutt is still hiding from me (he thinks I was yelling at him) so I'll have to hand over a couple of chunks of summer sausage as a peace offering. A win is a win but I really wish it didn't have to go down to the wire every time; I was glued to the boob tube the entire time and I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an exciting game!
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
The real game changer was the early whistle and an inability to challenge the lateral we recovered. Potentially that itself was a 14 point swing. Then the fumble did not help either. Both put the ball in the Steeler's hands. When the lateral was ruled a incomplete pass I knew ths game was going down to the wire again. Truly, the pass play in overtime was more than I ever imagined likely, but I did feel the first team to possess the ball was critical. So the coin coming up heads was really good for us. A exciting game indeed.
Now it's time to think NE. I actually think we will give them a much closer game than before, but I'm not confident in wining. Brady and his receivers are just too damn good.
