Yep -- so I expect the grader any minute to scrape off a few more inches. Heaven forbid that we should let the road stay hard packed.
Angela - given the height/length of that tree it looks like you're lucky it snapped off rather than uprooting. At least you won't have to repair the house.
All the trees that I can see from the house are still standing but I have not walked the property yet.
As I came up the driveway a large branch came down and there are many more littering the yard. The dogs are in heaven (those that will go out) with all the new sticks.
I hope things mellow a bit over night I am so tired we face west and with winds like this the whole house shakes.
Two of my bird feeders are missing so if you see one fly by let me know
you are so right and even if it had fallen a little bit more left, then it would have taken out my choke cherry tree and then I would have really been upset.

We have LOTS of branches down, only two trees that I can see. One a huge aspen, the other a smallish pine. But I'm not going to walk the property to confirm that until the wind's over.
