"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Yeah Wily, I lost 4 this year so far. Two small lodge poles, the ponderosa in the pic, and a very large possible white pine or something, maybe 100 ft and almost hit the cabin. Its actually my neighbors tree, but I own it now I guess. LOL
The deer like it though, they munch on the pine needles.
I need to buy another BIG chain saw this summer, its going to be a major project.
Been here 10 years and this winter is the worst for wind. I hate the wind!

damn, I am sorry you lost one of your big aspens. We have huge ones, too but they are good so far. damn
oh Joy and now we have 4 inches of hard windswept snow all over it before it has to be taken apart (Literally limb by limb) to get to the trunk to cut it up to open the driveway.
the deer are very interested. We play to place the limbs out where they can all get to them
