Check out the Malabrigo Trunk Show starting this weekend at the Knit Knook.
From Malabrigo's website,

"Malabrigo trunk shows include knitted garments from the beautiful designs we have in our books. You will find samples using all of our wonderful yarns, from the Malabrigo Rasta to the Malabrigo Lace. All the colors and softness of Malabrigo are there for you to see and touch in a finished garment that you can recreate from our books."
For anyone not familiar yet with Malabrigo, it's beautifully soft merino wool yarn from Uruguay, but what really sets them apart are the colors. Their dyework is incredible - from rich yet muted tones to bright, vivid, explosive colors. Malabrigo Sock is exquisite for not only socks, but shawls and fine gauge sweaters - ask Diane or Susan to see their sweaters-in-progress. (I've become a bit of a Malabrigo junkie, it's all Cat Crap Hill's fault - she gave me my first hit - and Diane at the Knook is a serious enabler.) Malabrigo's pattern books have some simply beautiful designs.
Weekend hours at the Knit Knook:
Saturday 10 - 4
Sunday 12 - 4
