But where are you getting the info? We have nothing anywhere reporting this. Was it heard by you guys? Just curious because usually you can see someone somewhere reporting it. I think that is a valid question. If not let me know. I listen to Douglas county and have others listening and no one has any reports on it except the WildWeb Wildfire Incidents. Why is it you trusted this info before from us but not now?

How many times have you heard accidents on 285 reported?

It is a Forest Service land fire. You would need FS frequencies to listen.

The original call aired over the Teller County scanner. Until the location was pinpointed into Dougco....there was scanner traffic. Once the FS knew it was theirs...They took completely over.
This is standard procedure for all FS fires.
