NO CHARGE FOR ANIMALS AT FAIRGRND

I want to dispell a false rumor that is on Pinecam. Wanted to post it here in case people are afraid to take animals to the fairgrounds for fear of being charged.

I just talked with Barb. THERE IS NO CHARGE EVER FOR ANY ANIMAL TAKEN TO THE JEFFCO FAIRGROUNDS. They also pay any vet bills incurred and are in the process of setting up places to take your animals in the event that your barn is gone. Barb was very upset that this bad info is being spread. IT IS A RUMOR, AND UNTRUE.

Repeat: THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR ANY ANIMAL TAKEN TO THE FAIRGROUNDS IF EVACUATED.

If you need to evac any livestock or small animal, please call Animal Control. Evac teams will be dispatched and your animal will be taken to Jeffco Fairgrounds where a veterinarian (free of charge to you) will check them as they are taken in. Feed is supplied. Stall cleaners and helpers are there volunteering. Great group doing a great job! Thank you!!!

so please title this thread accordingly, the title now is too cryptic to get the message out.

Thank you for the clarification on this information LA, it's important to let people know so they can make an informed decision. I know you're very busy and appreciate you taking the time to post this! Take care of yourself too, please! :)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
