Attorneys Offer Free Legal Aid to Lower North Fork Fire Victims
March 29, 2012 (Denver, Colorado) –

Members of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), the largest specialty bar association in the state, have volunteered to provide Lower North Fork Fire victims free legal aid to ensure fairness and accountability.

These CTLA volunteer attorney members specialize in homeowners, property/casualty, personal injury and insurance law.

Pro bono legal services include representation of those who have lost their homes or suffered physical injuries caused by the fire. Attorneys are able to review insurance policies, assist with claims, negotiate with insurance carriers and investigate and pursue other legal options that may be available to victims.

“Our attorney members understand that the Lower North Fork Fire has turned many lives upside down and no one can imagine the emotions these victims are feeling from the overwhelming stress, loss of life and devastation. Having an attorney as a resource to answer questions and guide them through this process will help them on the road to putting their lives back together,” said John Sadwith, executive director of CTLA.

Victims of the Lower North Fork Fire, either because of the loss of their home or have suffered a physical injury, who wish to consult with, and be represented by, a Colorado Trial Lawyers Association member, with no attorney fee, should call CTLA at (303) 831-1192 or (800) 324-2852.
