A message from Diane and Susan:

Hi Knit Knook Knitters,

What a week it has been!
We know many of you who were evacuated, and have just returned to your home, with a grateful heart. And we know others who were not so lucky, and lost their homes, pets, or loved ones. Our heart goes out to you.
We have a customer who fits into the last group, who lost her home and pets. And of course all of her knitting stash, as well as hand knitted items .She would like to re-knit the 8 knitted Christmas stockings she knit for her family, by next Christmas. We all know how much she needs to knit at such a stressful time. And how much it would mean to her if her friends were to surprise her with a reminder that she has friends who care.. Diane has agreed to let her purchase yarn and supplies at cost.

Please consider a monetary contribution of any amount. We will be collecting for only a week or so.
Diane and I are grateful for such a thoughtful group of friends!

And on a lighter note....

Sometimes it involves a pirouette or even a Rapunzel jump just on general principals.
