ARTISANS TRAIL OF PARK COUNTY 2012 BROCHURE/MAP
AND WWW.ARTISANSTRAIL.ORG

Please be a part of our arts promotion for Park County. Our art information will be everywhere in the county, places to sleep, places to eat, stores and offices, online, on Facebook, at Denver tourism locations, Denver Art Museum, Kirkland Museum, in 11 Colorado Welcome Centers of the Colorado Tourism Office Board and many other places.

The Artisans Trail 285 is a published list of open artist studios, art galleries, performance venues, special events, plein-aire locations, and cultural attractions. This published list and map will be made available to a regional audience coming through the 11 entry points of our state and also in places near Metro and around Park County. It will encourage travelers to find Park County Artists and Performers.

The Artisans Trail will be published in a brochure/map format as well as in an on-line website, on Facebook and promoted year round by all of us. The cost for venues to be on the trail is a check of $75 made out to South Park National Heritage Area.

Each entity is named, described, located with directions and contact info, and a schedule listed for appearance or availability. One could be open every day, once a week, every weekend, once a month, two weekends a year, one day, or only by appointment.... Whatever suits the venue.
Each venue would be visited by the public and tourists so each venue would prepare to receive visitors, care for them, and sell to them. Experience in relating to customers will be helpful.
The artisans trail will have a budget of up to $2000 plus what participating venues will pay. The South Park National Heritage Area is our fiscal agent and Park County Tourism is also a contributing organization. Starfishads.com will do the graphics and branding. Iris Peterson is our IT guru. We had 19 entries last year we hope to have 10 more to fill the brochure up.
