Okay quick before reading it. What do you think the largest earthquake recorded was?

I guessed Chile would be the place. It's subduction zone is the most trecherous and there is a long history of BIG quakes in Chile. I thought it would be a 9 not 9.5. Pretty rough rock and roll.

What I liked best was the original seismograph. Talk about innovative even if it didn't work as planned.
