Thanks for the link TV. Quite a bit of everything. A lot will depend on prices.

The previous owner was foreclosed on. From what I heard about him, good riddance. He ran off many tenants and basically forced out Roger and the hardware store. Old news but still ticks me off. The new owner is involved with community and is really trying to help out businesses instead of robbing them blind like the two mega centers are doing. I think the spa place is moving over, too.

Busters http://www.bustersnaturalpetsupply.com/bnps/ is a LANDMARK around these parts with a very loyal customer base. If you have not been there and you have critters, you should give them a try.

I absolutely LOVE Buster's and the entire staff and owner are the most wonderful people! The owner of the complex is a great guy too!

Where do I go to find out who the new owner is? Just wondering if I know him.

Would like to see more businesses up here.

Safeway complex is looking like a morgue.

Safeway owner is now the bank as they foreclosed several months back.

Hate to say it but I hope both complexes have worked out the water issues as no one will move in to either if they don't when your water bill is more than your rent there is something wrong.

We are talking about the ORIGINAL shopping center up here BEFORE all the over development. Where Conifer Vet is and 3 Margaritas

so are you only talking about Alco "not hiring locally"?

I would not base that "fact" on what one dude/dudette said. And that is what their business model is all about - helping underserved areas, so that just doesn't make any sense to me, especially, not a representative saying that out loud.

The new Safeway was foreclosed on but both centers have had high priced water issues.
