Attention King's Valley Residents:

When you pull out onto 285 going north, there is a DEDICATED ACCELERATION LANE just for you. It's LEFT of the 285 left lane. It's the safest way to accelerate to 55 without getting hit because nobody else uses that lane.

Driving across all three lanes, ACROSS THE SOLID WHITE LINE to immediately get to the right lane (usually in front of someone doing 55) is dangerous and not very smart and, if you get hit, you get the ticket because it's YOUR fault.

So why do you do that so much?

Thanks for the post JSG. I haven't had any problems - yet. Better to be prepared.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

As a KV resident I have to defend my neighbors. Very often, not always, but often the cars I see truning left and rushing to the extreme right lane of 285, have just come out of the Kum and Go. Most of us know we have a center merge lane and use it.
