I am proud to announce that Patrick, the son of Bennett and Kelly Murphy who are the former owners of the Platte Canyon Grill, has completed his first week of OCS (Officer Cadet School) in Quantico Virginia for the United States Marine Corps.
I can't wait to offer you up a hardy Semper Fi Patrick.
We are so very proud of you.
Thanks to Bennett and Kelly for raising such fine kiddos. I realize I am a little partial since KC our beautiful daughter in law.

He has to graduate LOL

And then you can say ooorah and Semper Fi to the newly commissioned 2nd LT.

Do newly commissioned Marines have to give silver dollars to the first enlisted person that salutes them? I know at the AF Academy this happens...

I would have to check on that.
I am hoping his brother in law is indeed the first to salute him.
