An Opportunity To Help the 25 Households Who Lost Their Homes in the Lower North Fork Fire
Dear Conifer Chamber Members and Business Owners of the 285 Corridor,
As you may already know, Mountain Resource Center is working with the families of the Lower North Fork Fire. MRC is in the process of creating a “Caring Business Discount Card” for the 25 families who lost everything in the fire. This is being done in partnership with the Conifer Chamber of Commerce. We would love to have all our local businesses participate in this that can.
Many businesses are already offering these families’ discounts. With a “Caring Business Discount Card” in hand, each family will not have to tell their story over and over again. By identifying the participating businesses on our website the families won’t miss out on all of the opportunities that our “caring” community would like to offer.
We would ask that each business sign up for 6 months, 12 months, 18 months or 24 month increments. Keep in mind that most of the families will not complete their rebuilding process for 18 – 24 months. That way if you are a smaller business you could start with 6 months and see how it’s going and move up from there. MRC will list participating businesses on their web-site with a description that you will create for your discount offering.
This will be a wonderful way of helping these families as they put their new lives back together in our community. Please call Vicki at MRC at 303-838-7552 x 11 if you have any questions.
Please fill out the attached form and email it back to
or fax it to MRC, Attention Vicki at 303-816-9375.
Thank you for your support and participation.
