Richard Dawson, the longtime host of "Family Feud," has died, his son said in a statement Sunday. He was 79.
"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer," Greg Dawson said in a post on his Facebook page early Sunday. "He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered."
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Survey says? Must be awesome to have created a national catch phrase. But I remember him most from Match Game, everyone would pick him to connect with.
Also liked his con man character on Hogan's Heroes.
