So I know that the Bailey Clerk and Recorders office is closed on Friday but the Mail In Ballot instructions says that it may be dropped off at the Bailey Clerk and Recorders Office Mon-Thur 7am-6pm and Friday 8am-5pm. Several of us tried to drop our ballots off today and the place was locked. Is that also true in Fairplay? It says Friday 8am-5pm also.
Why am I not surprised - situation normal, all fouled up.

Nope. The instructions with the mail in ballot under 'frequently asked questions' says it can be dropped off at Clerk and Recorders Office in Fairplay and Bailey Mon-Thur 7am-6pm and Fri 8am-5pm.
Maybe they weren't expecting anyone to receive and return their filled in ballots by this Friday. Maybe they will be open the following Fridays. Or maybe they just screwed up as usual?
