Best thinking says it is smoke from the High Park Fire.
JF posted a wind map over at DSV that clearly shows a wind direction heading right for us.
Be careful out there with strenuous activity.
Pretty smoky since early this morning on the east side of Bailey. We can barely see the outline of the peaks in the national forest. And it smells like smoke.

I just got off the phone with Jared at Platte Canyon and he told me that the wind has shifted from the north and that's why we up here towards Harris Park are getting smoke.
Harris Park is getting smoke from High Line, yes, but there is also a burn 2 miles from Lake George.

Wildland Fire Reported in Lake George, Colorado
A wildland fire is burning approximately 1 mile northwest of the town of Lake George in Park County on a mix of national forest and state lands. The fire is approximately 10-15 acres in size burning in mixed forest with heavy fuel loading.
