Missing Juveniles/ Burland

I wasn't missing that juvenile's "contributions' either; he can post all it/she/he wants and be ignored at the same time.

Whatever became of the missing kids? I hope all is well and this turns out to be a case of miscommunication.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Well whine, you could spend time listening to the scanner yourself so you don't have to rely on incompetent people such as myself to provide it to you.

Oh c'mon, Becky. When I saw your post yesterday, i almost asked if they were wearing "I'm a missing juvenile" signs. Lots of kids in Burland...

I posted what was aired.
Folks who lived nearby could at least come here and understand what the additional police presence was all about. Those who were close by could actually speak to search and rescue folks to get that information.
I am happy to just not post any scanner info at all here. Is that preferable to you?

 Oh, please. You're getting pretty paranoid if you really think that would be the case. I was razzing you over the goofiness of a scanner post without enough particulars to do much good.

The majority of scanner posts provide information to advise those in the area involved about what is going on in that area. I don't see that this one is any different - it provided the information that search and rescue had been activated to look for 2 missing juveniles in the Burland area. Unless law enforcement specifically requests assistance from the public, why would you expect to be provided with additional information?

Unless LE specifically requests assistance from the public, I wouldn't expect to see a post about that kind of activity at all. But, whatever...

Thanks for the post Becky. When we were out we were keeping an eye out for them.

Might have been on the other side of Burland as we didn't see any PCSAR or Deputies.

Hope they found them.
