I spent the day at Red Cross in Denver and can pass on what I know from that. It sounds like their needs are covered and them some. There was much discussion about where to store all the in-kind they have recieved. This is not just the Red Cross but across the board. After families get notification of lose there will probably much more need but that is where they are today from what I heard.
My fear with volunteering that far from home is what would happen here at home if we have a fire. Who would evac my pets? No way I could get home in time, even if I heard of the fire immediately.
