This morning leaving for work there was a bear in our neighbor's driveway on S. Elk Creek. Looked to be about the same size as the one pictured above - I wonder if it was the same one? Made our morning though!

Nice to see them from a safe place. There seem to be quite a few these days around homes. I am told it is because it is dry and a lot of their foods aren't available? There are plenty of bushes with berries over this direction besides water so maybe that is why we are seeing a lot of them. One turned over the neighbor's trash can in Burland Tuesday morning. Trash day. Didn't see a whole lot of them with trash exposed. Maybe they are using clorox or ammonia?

lol The bear looks quite comfortable.

Saw one before dark laid out on its stomach with front and back legs stretched out on the ground next to a stream.
