on my walk this morning right up my road I saw the bottom of a glass bottle - almost like a magnifying glass - lying on top of a pile of pine needles. With this extreme heat it would be only a matter of time for this to catch fire. Please people, recycle and put trash into the trash can where it belongs rather than throwing it out of your car. Appreciate and honor the beauty of where we live !
Not related to this but since we often pick up trash while we watch for smokes, watch for plastic bottles left with only a little bit of fluid in them. Do not pick them up as they could explode. Even using a walking stick to move them is too close. It seems ridiculous to have to be so cautious, but times have changed.
