Elk Creek would like to welcome all our new friends, and reconnected old friends. Thanks to your interest and support the Elk Creek FaceBook page set a new record this past week, reaching 4,360 people!
The Elk Creek FaceBook page is a fun place to see what’s going on at the Elk Creek Fire Department, what trainings and programs we’re pursuing, and what adventures our members are off on, but it is also a key part of our emergency information system. If we need to get critical information out to the public, we know we can reach a large percentage of the district with just one post.
So thanks again. Please keep us in mind, and tell your friends and family to “Like” the Elk Creek FaceBook page so they too can stay informed.
Are you guys on Twitter? That's where I got most of my wildfire information during the High Park and Waldo Canyon fires. The fire departments were excellent about keeping the public up to date on what was going on through Twitter feeds.
Do you have a link with information other than facebook or twitter for those of us who during the day are on other computers, not ours, and do not have access or have a fb or twitter account?

We also post information on our Department web site. The address is:
