We're taking the grands to the rodeo in a couple of weeks but have never been to the arena. Are there seats? Bleachers? Cement risers? Trying to learn if we need to bring blankets to sit on, chairs, or whatever.
Not sure what they will do this year. Usually when we have been there for the tree seedling distribution on April, none of the seating is out.
And for the Lower North Fork Fire everything was changed around to accommodate so many animals.
Here's a link for the July calendar with Jeffco Fairground telephone number at the bottom. I am sure they could answer your question. Would be interested in knowing what they say. Thanks.

I've left two messages, no return calls. If memory serves, the seating is simply poured concrete. Makes sense, since it's not a covered arena. I'm wondering if we can bring chairs or if we have to sit on blankets.

Called again today. The seats are grandstand style poured concrete. The woman I talked to said to definitely bring blankets or pads to sit on. I asked her about bringing chairs and she said they probably wouldn't work. Huh? So tomorrow we're going to go in person and check it out. I'll let you know if I learn anything productive.
Haha. I did. There's a ramp for wheelchairs and then an area to "park" and watch. I plan on getting parked early so the grands can sit with me. First come, first served, she said. After doing the fair all day they'll probably be ready to park early too. lol
