What did you do today?

We went fishing (well, catching actually) in the morning then came home. I split wood (log splitter, not axe) while DH power washed some stuff that needs staining and worked on winterizing stuff. I could use a few more of these beautiful days before my ordered multiple feet of snow arrives.

That sounds like a perfect Fall day!

Canvassing in Aurora for the vote. Beautiful day to be out. Thanks for asking.

I've been waiting for cooler weather for splitting wood. Looks like sometime this week wood will get split. Glad you enjoyed your day Mtn Gramma.

Killed mice. Drank beer. Ate. Drank some more beer, and some Amaretto. I think there was a football game on at some point. All in all an awesome day.

I spent a good part of the day lost.

I worked, watched football, helped hubby can salsa and tomato sauce, talked to my best friend on the phone while she was on a layover at DIA, showed my son how to use Microsoft Word so he could do his homework (he's much better at typing than "dreaded hand-writing", his teacher's thrilled that he'll email his assignments to her, and he's happy to "play" on the computer), and did 3 loads of laundry so hubby had clothes to pack for his out-of-town trip this week.

Yesterday?

Big Chili Cookoff. I think I tried every chili there.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, but so far feel surprisingly good. :)

Yesterday - Big Chili cookoff.

Ate more than my share, I think I tried um all except for the vegetarian- tried three of those and had to give um up. Every booth claimed that the vegetarian chili was awsome.

Just tasted like vegetable soup.

Awsome day- the trick is to stay hydrated.

lol When I first read it, hope you were going to say in the woods - a nice place to be lost.

Today I am home with a sore throat so won't be out canvassing today in Aurora. But great to be home in the mountains!
