Holy cow, I have never heard them fly so close. My dog freaked and all the neighbors came out to see what the heck was going on.
Come to find out. I am pretty sure they were flying right over my house!

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - Two F-16 fighter aircraft under the
direction of North American Aerospace Defense Command scrambled to
Centennial Airport Thursday morning to intercept a civilian plane that
entered a temporary flight restricted (TFR) area enforced because of the
president's visit.

Following the intercept the Cessna 182 was directed to land and did without
incident at Centennial Airport at 12:30 p.m.

The aircraft was to be met by law enforcement officers with the Arapahoe
County Sheriff's Office.

Capt. Glenn Thompson said the man, described as an older pilot, will not
face any charges. Thompson said the pilot didn't check the flight sheet and
didn't realize that there was an area he wasn't supposed to fly in.

NORAD's mission is to prevent air attacks against North America, safeguard
the sovereign airspaces of the United States and Canada by responding to
unknown, unwanted and unauthorized air activity approaching and operating
within these airspaces, and provide aerospace and maritime warning for North
America.
