I don't think it serves any real purpose to go after someone who CANNOT defend or refute any actions he took or information he provided.
If you really want answers......attend a board meeting and ask them.
I do agree what mamarama stated was completely disrespectful, and that MR needs to attend the board meetings to find out what IS going on and did go on. Don't assume... and please don't disrespect Mr. Davis, that was pretty tacky and disgusting
And yes Becky, I totally agree with you. That is why I wanted you in there so bad. I absolutely knew everything that was happening there. Same ol' crap good ol' boys needs to have someone from the outside be able to get in!!!
I don't think mamarama intended to disrespect Mr Davis. It was an honest question to ask.
I think some folks are just really frustrated with how things work in Park County.....from County government all the ay down to local fire departments. I think a lot of people would like to see a change but haven't got a clue anymore on how to accomplish that.
We obviously can't have anyone with smarts upsetting the good ole boy network. It is very frustrating to work towards change by getting good people to be candidates, only to find that people vote the party ticket and really don't even listen to what is available.
And it isn't like in the city where you may go house to house or to groups introducing yourself and talking about the issues. Up here you might get shot doing that. :scared:
SC videotaping is a very good idea but have to get more of the word out so that people can watch and know what a person stands for in the election.

At the last Fire Board Election it appeared that the majority of voters were folks with ties to the fire dept (volunteers, spouses, off-spring). There was definitely an "us vs. them" (fire dept. vs community) attitude, which is sad since the volunteers and their families ARE part of the community.
