Mountain Resource Center Holiday Needs

30 Sep 2012 17:33 #1 by 285_Corridor_Tea_Party
The Holidays are just around the corner and The Mountain Resource Center is looking for the following for their Food Bank:

Paper Products (toilet tissue, kleenex, paper towels, napkins, etc.)
Sugar
Canned fruit

Other items are still being accepted. They must be non-perishable.

If you can drop any of these items off at the Mountain Resource Center, it will be appreciated.

For 285 Corridor Tea Party members, please feel free to bring any of the above items to the October meeting as they can be placed into the donation box on site.

Thank you!

Should I assume from this post that the Mountain Resource Center endorses the Tea Party? Interesting and you would loose my support. I suggest as a non-profit organization that you are very careful about who you align yourselves with.

More than likely Mountain Resource Center is thankful for all donations from many different organizations and does not endorse any of them.

Thanks to the 285 Corridor Tea Party for helping out the Mountain Resource Center food bank.

If you assume the MRC endorses the local 285 Tea Party you would be wrong. We were just being good citizens and passing on the needs of a very good community organization. The MRC is there to help anyone in need regardless of political or personal beliefs.
