That is just a sad picture to me. I saw a similar pic over on PC and folks there were talking about how hysterical the picture was.

Male (bull) elk grow a new set of antlers every year, beginning when they are 1 year old. They shed these antlers every year in late winter or early spring and begin to grow a new set of antlers in spring.

Seeing as how you were all worried about him Batty, it appeared you didn't know. I'm guessing that rack is about 5 times heavier than that plastic swing chair.
Sure hope the chair doesn't get in the way of his duels with other bulls.
Thanks for the pix pineinthegrass. Nice of them to visit. Hope they hang around and the bull keeps you awake all night with his bellowing. I wouldn't mind.
