We live on a ridge too. I had to do a couple shots to sleep through the racket. Am going to have to cut down a tree that was banging against the house last night.

Akilina, this is a perfect day to rake pine cones, pine needles, and leaves. Just flick 'em up in the air and they head for Kansas. Tie on a scarf of bandana and you're good to go. lol
it's pretty wild here in ECH too; yesterday the wind ripped off one of my covers from the coldframes, today, another one was shredded; my prayer flags are hanging "sideways", hot tub cover is secured with 3 large rocks. I hope it calms down overnight...
