Hello All,
We are the Bordoni Family. Matt (Dad-30) Miriah (Mom-28) Lillian (Daughter-5) Logan (Son-10 months)We are currently living in Northwest Kansas and this last year has been a very bumpy road. Late June after a long battle with an unknown cause of malnourishment our daughter Lillian was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Celiac Disease is a genetic autoimmune disease that causes damage to the lining of the small intestine resulting in malabsorbtion after consuming Gluten (anything made with or in the same facility as Wheat, Rye, Barley and oats). We have all become a Gluten Free family to better insure the safely of our daughter. Unfortunately she has still been getting sick especially on days she is outside. A few weeks ago we went to the Denver Children's hospital and found out the because we live in wheat county and within 4 blocks of the two biggest grain elevators in our area. Lillian is having reactions to the wheat dust in the air. We have made the decision to move out of Kansas to give our daughter the best quality of live that she deserves. Matt and I lived in Bailey right out of high school and loved the area. The mountains have and always will be home to us! And this is why we have chosen to move back to the 285 corridor to raise our family. We currently have our house for sale and when it sells we will be looking to buy a house there as well as look for jobs. I have been so lucky to be a stay at home mom since our daughter was born. Matt has worked in the Cable communications field for the last 2 1/2 years and in the construction business for 6 years prior to that. He has enjoyed working with computers and building websites as a hobby since we were in high school. So this is just our way of introducing our family to your lovely community and asking that you keep us in mind for any available housing or jobs that arise in the future.
