those nasty dvd region codes

Okay - I've gone back and forth from the UAE too many times.

My computer decided it's settled in DVD region 3.

Problem is - I'm home (region 1).

Computers and DVDs weren't originally set up with the assumption that people would travel as much as I do (I don't even travel that much - but it's enough to freeze my DVD drive). They figure I'm up to no-good (I'm simply trying to watch the movies I bought when I was in the UAE).

Anyone here know how to overcome those zone locks?

Thanks, Grady - I was wondering if DVDIdle.com was "legit."
(i.e. - was not malware or some other hacking vehicle).
