Site Upgrade Update - Starting around 6:30-7 Tonight!

Hello Everyone!

Our big day has finally arrived: we will be doing our site upgrade this Thursday night! As we start to switch over to the new software and server, the old forums will be closed on the current server and transfer over to the new server. It will vary for everyone's ISP, but we anticipate that it will take anywhere from 12-24 hours and you should be able to log in and post as you have been. It may take us a few days to finish the last of the conversions, so please bear with us if you have any troubles. Please also be aware that our webcams may not work at first, and some of our links may be broken as we have to fix them all by hand. If you find any broken links, please let us know!

We think you are going to love the new site! It will have some cool new features that we'll show off after we're live. Please be sure to check out the Home Page after we're up, and all of the new drop-down menu options from the Home Page (they will be a little different from the drop-down menu items on the forum pages). Our goal is to make it so you can find everything you need here! If there's anything you'd like to see added, please let us know.

It's our goal to provide you with the best possible service, and the most fun place to post. We sincerely apologize for the unavailability of the forums during our change-over and will do our best to make it as smooth and painless as possible, but we think this is so going to be worth it! Thank you for your patience.

We have a quick update for you: we are planning on starting between 7:30 and 8pm tonight closing the forum and starting the change-over. As we mentioned, it will come back at different times for each person based on your internet service provider. Just a hint, clearing your cache might bring it up a little more quickly.

We also forgot to mention that for those of you who subscribe to our RSS feeds that when we switch over they will no longer work. We'll create new ones as soon as we can, and we'll post them in our RSS Feeds for Various 285Bound Topics when they are done. That also means that we won't have the various forum feeds (like the Campfire, Courthouse, and Scanner Forum) on the Home Page right away, but rest assured they will come back (bigger and better!).
