Safety Candle was created by CinnamonGirl

Insert string into Crisco as the wick (the larger the diameter of the can, the more wicks you can insert). Leave a quarter of an inch of the wick showing above the Crisco. Will burn for 45 at 8 hours a day.

This would be for emergencies. No batteries needed.

Just curious what burning Crisco smells like? And how do you insert the wick, an icepick?

You really should have one of those "crank up" flashlights.
Don't get the "shake up" ones though. Nobody looks cool doing that shake thing.

And if they're heavy, the shake up thing makes them jiggle.
