I predict the product lines will come back in non-union plants, but hopefully in America.

One of my coworkers used to work for the company over 10 years ago and they were shutting down plants then.

High school, used to buy the six packs of powdered donettes with a 16 ounce Mountain Dew in glass bottle. The breakfast of champions.

No more Cupcakes,
No more Pies,
Brings big tears,
To my eyes!

Suzie Q's are nill,
Without my Hostess,
Is a bitter pill!

Sno Balls are a memory,

I used to love your breakfast Fred. Sometimes it was the white ones and sometimes it was the chocolate covered ones.

I never even liked any of their stuff as a kid. Now at a higher risk for developing diabetes thanks to family history and developing gestational diabetes with my last baby, I stay away from stuff that has refined sugar and processed simple carbohydrates - that's just asking the beta islet cells in my spleen to commit mass suicide.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

They have Tastykakes (and Boylan's) at Taste of Philly on Broadway down in Denver. My work husband and I would walk down there once a week for lunch.
