The shooter was only 20 years old, unlikely to be a parent, at least that is what was last reported. Upon executing a search warrant at the shooter's home in NJ, they found one of his parents dead.....NBC News.
I'm not real happy with the media on this.....why are they interviewing children at the scene, more importantly, why are parents letting their very young children be interviewed?
This is my job to report and I can barely do it. I cried hard this time. I can't bear to see this. This is a mental health problem in this country. This school had security. You have to ring a bell to get in, the doors are locked. I agree archer. All I can see is little children in my head. Grandchildren, children, mothers and fathers. This has to stop and gun control won't stop a highly motivated individual from killing and I just cannot watch this any more.
Sorry I admit to losing it a bit on this one. Hug your family today and it is time to start with loving our neighbors.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
....and the story changes.....now the shooter is 24, and the parent, his mother, was shot at the school. Sheesh, media, don't report what you haven't confirmed. I'm done with watching....I will check later and see what has transpired.

But, but, but how can they be first to report then??? Ratings are the begins all, ends all. Facts, truth, decency be damned.
